With seven comfortable, beautifully renovated rooms, plenty of character, and excellent food, The Angel Inn offers the perfect base for exploring the historic, charming market town of Petworth and the beautiful surrounding landscape of the South Downs National Park. 

The Inn’s medieval origins are reflected in original beams, fireplaces and quirky passageways. Take a stroll through the large walled garden, which is heaving with magnolia blooms in the summer and horse chestnuts in the autumn. After dark, join the welcoming crowd by the roaring fire for a pint and a meal, crafted from the finest offerings of local farms. We hope you will join us and feel you are truly home away from home.

  • Thursday 26th December, Boxing Day: Open 8am – 6pm, food served 12noon – 3:30pm
  • Friday 27th December: Open 8am – 11pm, food served 12noon -2:30pm & 5:30pm – 8:30pm
  • Saturday 28th December: Open 8am – 11pm, food served 12noon -2:30pm & 5:30pm – 8:30pm
  • Sunday 29th December: Open 8am – 6pm, food served 12noon – 3:30pm

  • Tuesday 31st December, New Year’s Eve: Open 8am – 11pm, food served 12noon -2:30pm & 5:30pm – 8:30pm
